Privacy & GDPR
Last updated: 2026
1. Summary
Silenceer is designed to know as little about you as possible. The decoy traffic engine runs entirely client-side. We do not require an account, we do not set tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share personal data.
2. Data controller
Silenceer Labs ("we", "us"). For data subject requests under the GDPR, contact privacy@silenceer.live.
3. What we process
- Local state only: protocol toggles and session counters are kept in your browser memory and discarded when you close the tab.
- Aggregate, anonymous metrics: a privacy- preserving counter of concurrent operators. No IP addresses, no identifiers, no device fingerprints are stored.
- Outbound decoy traffic: generated from your own browser to third-party endpoints. These endpoints will see your IP and request headers unless you use a VPN — which we strongly recommend.
4. What we do not collect
No account data. No email. No password. No cookies for advertising or analytics. No device fingerprints. No server-side logs tied to your identity.
5. Legal basis (Art. 6 GDPR)
Where any limited processing occurs, the lawful basis is either (a) your consent given by using the Service, or (b) our legitimate interest in operating a secure, abuse- resistant service.
6. International transfers
Static assets are served via a global CDN. No personal data is transferred for processing outside the EEA.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because we hold effectively no personal data, most of these requests will return an empty set — but we will confirm in writing. Contact privacy@silenceer.live.
8. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
9. Changes
Material changes to this notice will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
